Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith is expected to play during Sunday's Week 6 game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Smith is making his return after missing just one week with a back injury.
Steve Smith will play against the 49ers Sunday
The veteran wideout is back in the lineup after missing one week with a back injury.

Smith suffered four microfractures in his back during Week 4, but he did not require surgery. He practiced on a limited basis this week and was listed as questionable. Although Smith expressed doubt about playing on Sunday, head coach John Harbaugh was more optimistic, telling reporters to “never rule Smith out.”
The 36-year-old was enjoying a hot start to the season before getting injured, recording 29 catches for 373 yards and two touchdowns in the first four games. Smith remains Joe Flacco's favorite target and was dearly missed in Week 5. With Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown as the top two receivers, Baltimore managed just 196 net passing yards in a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Smith signed with the Ravens in 2014 after a 13-year run with the Carolina Panthers. Last season, he put up 79 catches for 1,065 yards and six touchdowns.
