Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins left the team's game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with an ankle injury. Watkins caught a touchdown pass from EJ Manuel just before halftime, but he was also injured on that play.
Sammy Watkins leaves Bills-Bengals game with ankle injury
Watkins caught a touchdown before going down with the injury, but was injured on the play.

Watkins walked off the field under his own power, then left with the trainers to the locker room. He was down on the field with the injury for some time and appeared to be in pain. He was listed as questionable coming into the game with a calf injury.
Watkins was seen on crutches in the locker room at halftime, so his return does not seem likely. The Bills officially listed his return as questionable, and then downgraded him to out for the remainder of the game. While just an early prognosis, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports Watkins sustained a sprained ankle and that there was no break.
When he went down with the injury, Watkins had caught four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. He did not take a hit on the play he sustained the injury.
Watkins, who complained before the game that he wasn’t getting targeted enough, caught seven of the 12 passes thrown his way for 99 yards and a touchdown in three games played going into Sunday.
