San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is active against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Allen was listed as questionable on the injury report with a hip injury he sustained against the Green Bay Packers in Week 6. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but participated in a limited fashion in Friday's session.
Keenan Allen will play against Raiders despite hip injury
Philip Rivers will have his top receiver on Sunday against the AFC West rival Raiders.

Following practice, Allen said he planned to play and that he didn’t feel like he’s lost a step due to the injury.
Allen leads the NFL with 53 catches and is well on his way to breaking the Chargers franchise record of 100, set by LaDainian Tomlinson back in 2003. Allen leads the league in catches, but he comes in third in receiving yards, with his 601 yards trailing DeAndre Hopkins (726) and Julio Jones (638). Hopkins has put up his yardage on 52 catches, but has been targeted 19 times more than Allen.
Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers will be glad to have Allen on the field on Sunday. He's been a breakout star this year, and with Antonio Gates recently returning from a four-game suspension before going down with an MCL sprain against the Packers and rookie running back Melvin Gordon also dealing with injuries, Allen is Rivers' only real safety net at this point.
Allen isn't the only Chargers player producing in the passing game, though. The Chargers have the most productive passing offense in the league, with Danny Woodhead catching 26 passes for 332 yards, while Malcom Floyd has 16 receptions for 310 yards. Ladarius Green and Stevie Johnson both have 200-plus receiving yards as well.
