Seahawks vs. Cowboys 2015 picks and predictions: Seattle favored to get to .500

The NFC East isn't exactly the toughest division in football, and the Dallas Cowboys were favored to take it prior to the season beginning. However, they're currently sitting at just 2-4 and in last place in the division. But because the division isn't very good overall (the first-place Giants are 4-3), the Cowboys are still actually well within the running for the lead.

But they need to right the ship sooner rather than later. That's going to be difficult with Tony Romo still injured, but with Dez Bryant getting better every day and Matt Cassel hopefully bouncing back after a disastrous Dallas debut, the Cowboys might just be on track to put up a win.

They'll be going against a Seattle Seahawks team that has also fallen short of expectations through the first half of the season. The Seahawks won the Super Bowl two years ago and came up just short of another championship last season, but they are 3-4 right now and are one of the worst fourth-quarter teams in the league. That didn't stop Seattle from dominating the rival San Francisco 49ers last week, though.

The Seahawks trail the 5-2 Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West, and they're not going to be an easy team to unseat. But before they face off against the Cardinals next week in a pivotal matchup, the Seahawks have to take down the Cowboys. And most of the experts expect them to do just that.

Over at CBS Sports, seven of the eight experts went with Seattle to win, with only Jason La Canfora backing the Cowboys. At ESPN, the entire 13-man panel also picked the Seahawks.
