Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is planning to make his return from a hamstring injury a lot sooner than previously thought. Cutler is expected to play in Sunday's Week 4 game against the Oakland Raiders, even though Fox Sports' Jay Glazer says the quarterback isn't 100 percent.
Jay Cutler expected to make return in Week 4 vs. Raiders
Jay Cutler is supposed to be back after missing one game with a hamstring injury, even though he’s reportedly not 100 percent.

Cutler left the Bears' Week 2 game after tweaking his hamstring attempting to make a tackle after an interception. He sat out Chicago's Week 3 shutout loss to the Seattle Seahawks and was listed as questionable on this week's injury report, but Cutler is ready to go again.
Jimmy Clausen made the start in Week 3 with Cutler out. The results were ... not good. Clausen completed just nine of his 17 passes for 63 yards, while the Bears punted 10 times on 10 possessions. Even if Cutler is still less than 100 percent, the Bears couldn't have been thrilled about having to trot out Clausen again.
In Cutler’s two games this season, he completed 26 of 45 passes for 345 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The 32-year-old is as inconsistent as ever and his reckless habits will never go away at this point. However, Cutler still gives the Bears their best chance to win, even when they’re seemingly throwing in the towel on the season after starting 0-3.
One major concern is the continued absence of wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, who is missing his third straight game with a hamstring injury. Cutler may be a better option than Clausen, but his lack of pass-catching weapons will continue to hamper the Bears' offense.
