Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns is active and will play against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Hurns is dealing with a foot injury and was listed as questionable on the official injury report going into Week 10.
Allen Hurns active vs. Ravens in Week 10
The Jaguars will have receivers Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee ready to go on Sunday against the Ravens.
He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but on Friday he participated in a walk through and expressed confidence that he would be able to play.
Hurns is in his second season in the league and through eight games, he’s almost eclipsed his total receiving yardage from last season. With six touchdowns, he’s already tied his mark over 16 games last season. He’s really come into his own this year, and has caught 36 of 59 passes thrown his way for 635 yards. He had 677 yards all of last season.
Combined with Allen Robinson, the receiver that starts opposite him, and quarterback Blake Bortles, Hurns represents a huge bright spot for the Jaguars going forward. Robinson has 707 yards and six touchdowns himself, and the duo are both on pace to go above 1,000 yards on the season, though Hurns will have to avoid doing any further damage to his foot by playing on Sunday.
Marqise Lee and Bryan Walters are next on the depth chart. Lee was also listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, but will also play.
