Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins will play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Watkins was questionable before the game with an ankle injury, but he's now listed as active. The ankle injury has limited Watkins this season, ever since he sustained the injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 18.
Sammy Watkins will play with sprained ankle vs. Dolphins
The Bills second-year wide receiver will play on Sunday, but his snaps could be limited.

Watkins was seen on crutches following that game, but fortunately the injury was not as serious as many initially thought. On Friday he said he would “most definitely” play through the injury, although it’s possible his time could be limited. His ankle has been heavily taped leading up to Sunday’s game, but he said that he expected to be available for the Bills against the Dolphins.
Absent at Friday’s practice, Watkins practiced on Thursday but tweaked the injury on Friday. The questionable designation was supposed to denote a 50 percent chance of playing, but most expected he’d be able to play.
Watkins has played in just four games this season, catching 11 of the 17 passes thrown his way for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He is the top target for Tyrod Taylor. He’s playing in his second season since being made the fourth overall pick by the Bills in 2014. He caught 65 passes for 982 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie.
The Bills are 3-4 on the season and the offense sorely needs the boost that Watkins can provide, especially with fellow receiver Percy Harvin recently being placed on injured reserve.
