The Buffalo Bills' backfield is finally getting close to healthy -- running back Karlos Williams is officially active for the team's Week 9 game against the Miami Dolphins, the team announced.
Karlos Williams returns after missing 3 games with concussion
The rookie running back was cleared of his concussion and will make his return in Week 9.

Williams suffered a concussion in Week 4 and ended up missing three games. He has since been cleared and returned to practice this week following the Bills’ Week 8 bye. Williams was listed as probable on the final injury report.
Before the concussion, the fifth-round draft pick was enjoying a strong rookie campaign. In three games, Williams rushed for 226 yards and three touchdowns on 5.4 yards per carry, adding five receptions for 46 yards and an additional touchdown.
Williams’ best game came against these same Dolphins in Week 3. With LeSean McCoy nursing a hamstring injury, the rookie got the start and exploded with 110 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries.
The Bills have slumped to a 3-4 start as injuries ravaged the offense. With Williams, McCoy and quarterback Tyrod Taylor all healthy again, we could finally start to see the ground-control attack that Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Greg Roman envisioned in the offseason.
