Chris Culliver makes return for Washington in Week 9
Chris Culliver is back after missing the past three games with a knee injury.

Culliver suffered a knee injury in Week 4 and hasn’t played since then. Although an MRI revealed no structural damage, Washington held him out through its Week 8 bye. He was listed as questionable on this week’s injury report, although he practiced all week. Culliver also missed Week 2 with a personal conduct suspension.
After spending four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, Culliver signed a four-year deal with Washington worth up to $32 million, including $16 million guaranteed. He had four interceptions and 15 passes defended for the 49ers in his final season.
Washington has been thin at the cornerback position this year, missing Culliver, DeAngelo Hall and Bashaud Breeland at various points throughout the year. Nevertheless, the defense is allowing just 232 passing yards per game, a respectable 11th-place in the league. The team will need Culliver at full health this week if it has a prayer of slowing down Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and company.
