A very candid look at the NFL playoff picture

This week on the Family Hour ... Stephen White, Danny Kelly and RVB get to the bottom of which teams are going to make it to the playoffs, which ones will have home-field advantage, and who will win the awful NFC East. We also talk about the refs.

There are exactly four weeks left in the NFL regular season, and the playoff picture is starting to take shape. There’s a lot to sort out. Fortunately, the Onside Kick Family Hour is here to help! This week on the Internet’s only NFL podcast, Stephen White, Danny Kelly and RVB are discussing ...

The Panthers just might go 16-0. Plus, there are real pros and cons to resting their starters, even with a nearly insurmountable lead for the NFC’s No. 1 seed.

What about the Cardinals? They’re very good. They have a tough test Thursday with the Vikings, but it’s one they should pass. Bruce Arians’ team looks to have the second spot locked down, but they have to play the Packers before the season ends.

Speaking of the Packers, consider us optimists. We think that Eddie Lacy will drive past the McDonald’s drive-thru and right back onto the field, through opposing defenses, making the Packers offense right again. Seriously, do not count this team out.

And how about the Vikings? They’re good, but it all runs through Adrian Peterson.

Someone has to win the NFC East, right? Who will it be? Who cares, but we talked about it anyway because it’s a lot of fun to laugh at these four shitty teams.

Okay, let’s move to the AFC. Are the Patriots screwed? Probably not, but it’s getting iffy. The Bengals are the team to beat and our pick to come away with the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Listen, do not overlook the Steelers either. They could go on a tear at the right time.

Finally, we talk refs.
