The Seattle Seahawks will be without safety Kam Chancellor in the lineup for a Week 15 game against the Cleveland Browns.
Kam Chancellor inactive vs. Browns due to tailbone injury
Chancellor will miss Sunday’s game with a tailbone injury.

Chancellor, 27, suffered a tailbone injury in a Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens and sat out of practice all week before he was listed as questionable. Head coach Pete Carroll said that Chancellor would be a game-time decision, but the Seahawks have decided to keep the safety out of the lineup.
With a postseason run almost certainly on the way for the Seahawks, it only makes sense for the team to keep the safety from suffering further injury. While earning a Week 15 win is hugely important for the Seahawks and could mean a clinched spot in the postseason, beating the 3-10 Browns at home is something the team can probably manage without much help from its three-time Pro Bowl safety.
Chancellor sat out the first two weeks of the season due to a contract dispute that could likely spill into the offseason. In the safety's absence, the Seahawks started the year 0-2, allowing 61 combined points to the St. Louis Rams and Green Bay Packers. The team bounced back from a 2-4 start and has won four consecutive games and six of its last seven.
