The Cardinals had an easy time with the Eagles in Philadelphia, and clinched the NFC West with their 12th win of the season. The Steelers overcame four first-half touchdowns by Brock Osweiler to beat the Broncos in Pittsburgh. The Seahawks clinched a playoff spot with a win over the Browns, and the Packers got a fight from the Raiders but picked up a win in Oakland. In the early games, the contest between the Panthers and the Giants turned into a dogfight that ended up tied in the fourth quarter. The Panthers, however, stayed undefeated with a field goal to take the lead as time expired.
Beckham reportedly felt threatened by Panthers
According to Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record, Norman had a baseball bat during warmups and comments were made by Panthers directed at Beckham that they were going to “beat the s**t out of him.” While Norman isn’t specified as the player who directed pregame comments at Beckham, the Panthers star cornerback was holding the baseball bat and Stapleton says that Beckham perceived it as a message being sent.
The Giants claimed there were threats made; Panthers denied that. A team spokesman was also quick to question the timing of the report.

Jim Rogash/Getty ImagesAfter suffering an MCL sprain Sunday against the New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota has been shut down for the rest of the season, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
The Titans invested the second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft in Mariota, and they have plenty of game film to look at and build on throughout the offseason. Mariota played in 12 games this season and gave the Titans more than enough to work with. Zach Mettenberger getting a couple starts to close out the season won’t hurt anything, since they are only competing for pride and draft position at this point.

The Week 15 slate of NFL games features just one game between teams with winning records, although several matchups include teams with losing records that are still very much in the postseason hunt. Thanks to the entirely sub-.500 standings in the AFC South and NFC East coming into Week 15, some otherwise poor games were instead the most impactful games of the week.
The Panthers started off strong, but the Giants stormed all the way back to tie the game with under two minutes left. But in the end, the Giants couldn’t stop Cam Newton, who led the Panthers to field goal range. Graham Gano knocked it through as time expired and Carolina became the fourth team in NFL history to get to 14-0.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY SportsRoethlisberger led the Steelers to a second half comeback after they trailed, 27-13, at halftime. He completed 40 of 55 passes for 372 yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions. The second interception was a hugely quesitonable call by Roethlisberger, as they elected to throw the ball while up a score just before the two-minute warning. Denver got the pick and another shot at the victory.
The Broncos rushed for 104 yards on the ground, while the Steelers put up just 23 yards, with DeAngelo Williams getting just 14 touches.

Still, those three teams all have or had the opportunity to clinch divisions in Week 15, and as many as five of the six playoff berths in the NFC can be clinched too. But assuming there isn’t a tie in Week 15, the Bengals, Broncos and Green Bay Packers all have the easiest clinching scenarios: Win.
The Seahawks and Vikings are also rooting against Washington and New York in Week 15. If either of the NFC East teams lost and Seattle manages to beat Cleveland on Sunday, the Seahawks would secure a spot. Fortunately, the Giants lost.

It seems that Beckham regained all that composure he lost and started dabbing in celebration. Now, who typically dabs to celebrate? Oh yeah -- all of the Carolina Panthers (except Greg Olsen).
That was just the start as Beckham scored a game-tying touchdown against Norman with about 2 minutes left in the game. To top it all off, HE STEPPED OVER NORMAN LIKE ALLEN IVERSON DID AGAINST TYRONN LUE.

There has been back-and-forth hard play from both sides, but Beckham turned the dial up to 10 with a helmet-to-helmet shot that blindsided Norman.
Norman was struck on the side of his head and Beckham clearly launched helmet-first into him. This is absolutely disgusting and the NFL needs to correct what the officials didn’t and suspend him.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY SportsHe was being looked at one the sideline and was testing the leg before being taken back to the locker room. Peterson later returned in the third quarter.
Peterson was having a big game before he left with the injury. He had 12 carries for 56 yards, and was well on his way to getting the league lead in rushing yardage.

The Giants were down to the Panthers 21-7 at halftime and it clearly shook up fans in the Meadowlands. Instead of fighting in the concourse like regular people, these fans came to blows in men’s room stall.
What happens if someone needs to pee but the bathroom is full of people fighting? Well that’s easy.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY SportsWith a postseason run almost certainly on the way for the Seahawks, it only makes sense for the team to keep the safety from suffering further injury. While earning a Week 15 win is hugely important for the Seahawks and could mean a clinched spot in the postseason, beating the 3-10 Browns at home is something the team can probably manage without much help from its three-time Pro Bowl safety.

WHO DID THIS?! WHO! We need answers. We’re not mad ... we’re just disappointed. There are certain colors that work together. Purple and black generally look pretty cool. Those all-black uniforms the Ravens wear sometimes look great, too.

The game, which can be streamed via NBC Sports Live Extra, is the furthest trip east for the Cardinals, although it’s not much further than the team’s Week 6 road trip to Pittsburgh, which ended in a 25-13 loss for Arizona. The Cardinals haven’t lost since and can win a franchise-record eighth consecutive game on Sunday.
At CBS Sports, Will Brinson is the only one on the eight-man panel to take the Eagles to win, while only Seth Wickersham picked against the Cardinals on ESPN’s 13-man panel.
Read Article >OBJ vs. Josh Norman is the matchup of the season
On Sunday afternoon, arguably the best wide receiver in football will be paired up against perhaps the game’s top corner. Norman described the matchup as “edible” earlier this week. And based on how well Beckham and Norman have played over the last several weeks, this matchup promises to live up to the hype –– even if Tom Coughlin doesn’t appear to be all that thrilled about it.
Beckham’s coming out party on a national scale occurred early last November, when he torched Richard Sherman for seven catches and 108 yards. Following that affair, he was the first Giants rookie receiver to record back-to-back 100-yard games since Byron Williams in 1983.

Brady, 38, was listed as questionable by the Patriots for Week 15 after coming down with an illness, although most expected him to play. Since taking over the starting duties for New England in 2001, Brady has only missed time during the 2008 season when he suffered ACL and MCL tears. During the 109-game starting streak since 2008, Brady has often appeared on the Patriots injury report, but hasn’t been pulled from the starting lineup.
