Super Bowl Sunday is finally here, so if you wanted to get in some last-minute bets, now is your chance. Latest Super Bowl 2015 odds: New England holding as the favorite on game day
Get your last minute bets in for Super Bowl 49. The Patriots remain narrow favorites over the Seahawks on game day.
On the morning of the Super Bowl, the odds were much the same as they have been over the past few days: New England is steady as the favorite, but only by a point or so at most books. They’re at -1 on some, -1.5 on others and the matchup sits at even money on others, according to OddsShark.
This has been the case for the majority of Super Bowl week. The opening lines were slightly different though, as the Seahawks opened up as 2-point favorites for the matchup. It seems a lot of money came in on New England as the underdogs, because the line didn't stay that way for long. Given that it's maintained the current look for several days, there's likely a steady stream of money coming in on New England.
The over/under also hasn’t changed over the course of the last few days. It opened at 48.5 points, and has went down to between 47 and 47.5 points on most books. It’s been there for much of the Super Bowl week.
What has changed is that Seattle seems to be getting some more action going its way as the game gets closer. Previously, close to 70 percent of the money coming in was on New England, but the latest numbers from OddsShark show 57 percent coming in for the Patriots, and 43 percent on the Seahawks. The over/under is split evenly, which is why there hasn't been a change.
