Frank Gore is trying to lure Vince Wilfork to Colts

The U is getting back together in Indianapolis.

Frank Gore reunited with his former Miami Hurricanes teammate Andre Johnson when the two signed with the Colts this offseason. Now, Gore is trying to lure a third 'Cane to Indianapolis, All-Pro defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.

Gore, Johnson and Wilfork were all part of the University of Miami squads that appeared in multiple national title games in the early 2000s, winning a championship in 2001. Each has gone on to have successful NFL careers, but only Wilfork has earned any jewelry as a result. With Andrew Luck at the helm in Indy, the Colts have a chance to provide Gore and Johnson with the Super Bowl rings they've strived for their whole careers. Wilfork could be the last piece their roster requires.

Realizing that, Gore took to his Instagram account to send a message to Wilfork:

The u we waiting for big Vince wilfork now family

It’s unclear how much money Wilfork is asking for, but the Colts currently possess around $15.5 million in cap space, according to Over the Cap. That should leave them enough to add the defensive tackle and have enough left over to take care of their incoming draft class.
