There are few guarantees in the NFL Draft. A "can't miss" prospect can be viewed as a bust before the end of his rookie season. Players taken in the final rounds can go from possible preseason cut to field-tilting superstar. On rare occasions, teams can even bungle their time limit and see another franchise pick ahead of them. However, the one thing football fans can bank on is draft picks exchanging hands in every round.
2015 NFL Draft: The complete list of traded draft picks
NFL teams love to trade draft picks, but it can sometimes be difficult to keep track of where selection ends up. We keep track of them all.
Teams love to swap picks. Some, like the New England Patriots, do so strategically, collecting a war chest of extra selections year after years. Others, like the Dallas Cowboys, target individual players they love and spend multiple picks to move up for them.
The value of picks differs from team to team. Some utilize a variant of the old draft chart developed by Jimmy Johnson in the early 90s. That chart places very heavy value on selections in the top 10 and decidedly little value to those in rounds four through seven. Other teams take a more analytical approach to trading picks, using expected return to decipher what each selection is worth.
Gathered below is every pick that no longer resides with its original owner. We’ll be updating this tracker throughout the draft.
