NFL Draft streaming 2015: How to watch the 1st round live online
The 2015 NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. ET with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the clock.
The 2015 NFL Draft is beginning soon and it will start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going on the clock once NFL commissioner Roger Goodell gives the green light for the clock to tick shortly after 8 p.m. ET.
For the first time since 1963, the boos that rain down on the commissioner will likely come from a crowd featuring mostly Chicago Bears fans rather than New York Jets and New York Giants fans after the NFL relocated the event to the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. Previously, Radio City Music Hall served as the venue since 2006 and New York City was host for 50 earlier drafts.
Plenty has changed in the 50 years since the NFL Draft was last outside of the New York. What was previously done in a single room with a chalkboard is now a three-day event of drama and spectacle.
The first day features only the first round and has taken a little over three-and-a-half hours to finish in each of the last two years. On Friday, the second and third rounds will be held, followed by the remainder of the draft on Saturday.
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is expected to be the No. 1 pick for the Buccaneers, but the intrigue begins immediately after when the Tennessee Titans go on the clock with the second pick. One possibility is Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, whether that's to the Titans or a team that trades up to acquire the second pick.
Coverage of the event will be held on both NFL Network and ESPN, and both networks will be provide streaming services online.
