Florida State defensive tackle Eddie Goldman is set to join the Chicago Bears after being selected with the No. 39 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Goldman becomes the latest Seminole to come off the board this year, a trend begun with Jameis Winston's selection earlier in the day.
NFL Draft picks 2015: Eddie Goldman goes to Bears at No. 39
Eddie Goldman is your newest Chicago Bear.

Tall, large and imposing, Goldman looks like the complete package for an interior defensive lineman. He possesses outstanding strength and a tremendous first step that allows him to shed blockers. He works primarily as a space eater in the middle of the defense, though he has improved as a pass rusher.
Goldman's final year at Florida State left quite an impression. He racked up eight tackles for loss and four sacks, both career highs. He also forced a fumble in a pivotal game against conference rival Clemson. For his efforts, Goldman earned first team All-ACC honors and was named a third team All-American.
However, Goldman is not one of the premier interior pass rushers in his class, at least not yet. He lacks a go-to move to break through double teams and doesn’t have great closing speed. He also doesn’t have the cleanest medical record as he missed practices in college and was unable to work out at the combine.
Goldman was a two-year starter at Florida State, notching 62 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss and six sacks during his career.
