The Green Bay Packers have selected Miami (Ohio) defensive back Quinten Rollins with the No. 62 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. A football and basketball recruit out of high school, Rollins played four seasons of basketball for the RedHawks and finished his career ranked second on the school's all-time steals list. With one year of eligibility left, he decided to return to football in 2014 and earned the starting cornerback job in the spring.
NFL Draft results 2015: Quinten Rollins to Packers in 2nd round
The Packers landed Quinten Rollins in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Rollins made a seamless transition from the hardwood to the gridiron, finishing with 72 tackles, a team-leading seven interceptions (tied for third-most in the nation) and 16 passes defended. He was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Year and received an invite to the Senior Bowl, where he continued to bolster his stock as one of the fastest-rising DB prospects in the draft.
The 22-year-old had a solid showing in the testing at the combine and was praised by scouts for his natural instincts and ball-hawking ability during the positional drills. He ran a 4.57-second 40-yard-dash, put up 14 reps in the bench press, and posted a 35.6-inch vertical and 122-inch broad jump.
A raw and unpolished prospect after playing just one season of college ball, Rollins obviously needs a lot of work on his technique and route recognition skills. However, with great hands, a willingness to tackle and playmaking instincts, Rollins has limitless upside and the potential to be an impact defensive back in the NFL.
