With the No. 63 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected defensive end Frank Clark of Michigan, and with the No. 64 overall pick, the New England Patriots selected defensive back Jordan Richards of Stanford.
NFL Draft results 2015: Frank Clark to Seahawks, Jordan Richards taken by Patriots
Frank Clark and Jordan Richards were the final two picks in the second round of the NFL Draft, going to the Seahawks and Patriots, respectively.

Clark was always projected to go in the second or third round, but Richards is something of a surprise pick for the Patriots. Many had him rated as a sixth- or seventh-round pick, but if the team felt they had any chance of losing him out due to internal rumors or if they simply wanted to insure he was their guy, who are we to argue?
Richards was a first-team All-Pac-12 player this past season, and is noted as a solid zone safety. He wasn’t asked to do much man coverage with Stanford, but he’s a sure-tackler and has good ball skills. One of the Patriots’ biggest needs was defensive back, though Richards is considered raw at this stage. It’s hard to imagine him stepping into any kind of starting role right off the bat.
Clark doesn’t necessarily fill a big need for the Seahawks, though they were looking for help along the defensive line and this was their first selection in this year’s draft. That’s because they sent away their first-round pick to the New Orleans Saints for tight end Jimmy Graham. Clark was a solid performer at Michigan, putting up 4.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles in 2014. He was a second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2013. Clark was dismissed from the program in 2014 after being arrested on domestic violence charges.
