With the No. 133 overall pick, the Denver Broncos selected offensive lineman Max Garcia of Florida. Garcia was an All-SEC second-team player this past season and was on the Rimington Trophy watch list.
NFL Draft results 2015: Max Garcia taken by Broncos
Max Garcia was taken by the Denver Broncos near the bottom of the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

Garcia started 12 games at left tackle with Maryland in 2011, and five games there with Florida in 2013 after transferring. He made the switch to left guard during that season, however, and in 2014 made the full-time switch to center after playing the position throughout spring practices. He played his best football at center, and projects to the position at the next level.
As a center, he brings a ton of strength to the position, but is better pushing out than keeping a clean pocket. He’s a dominant run-blocker, with plenty of upper body strength. Garcia has been referred to as a “mauler,” which is great, but he does have his limitations. He’s not especially agile and doesn’t block well in space, which means he’s probably a good center but doesn’t offer value anywhere else on the line.
Garcia didn’t participate in the NFL Scouting Combine, but he ran the 20-yard shuttle in 5.13 seconds and the 3-cone drill in 8.18 seconds, and recorded a 28-inch vertical jump and a broad jump of 8’7 at Florida’s pro day.
