NFL Draft picks 2015: Jamison Crowder goes to Washington
Washington lands wide receiver Jamison Crowder in the fourth round.

Jamison had a productive career with Duke, catching 283 passes for 3,641 yards and 23 touchdowns in four years. He didn’t get major playing time until 2012, but he left Duke as the ACC’s all-time leader in receptions and put up at least 1,000 yards for three consecutive seasons.
Although his stats were down a bit in his senior season, Crowder managed to lead the Blue Devils with 85 catches for 1,044 yards and six touchdowns. There’s lot to like at the next level, especially as a special teamer, but the major concern is his size. At 5’8, 185 pounds, he’s not a big target for quarterbacks and he doesn’t have a ton of muscle on his frame.
Crowder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 and 4.48 seconds at his pro day, ran the 20-yard shuttle in 4.25 seconds and the 3-cone drill in 6.98 seconds. He posted a broad jump of 115 inches and a vertical leap of 37 inches at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.
