With the No. 109 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts selected safety Clayton Geathers of Central Florida. Geathers was an All-ACC first-team player in 2014 and was invited to the Senior Bowl in January.
NFL Draft picks 2015: Clayton Geathers to Colts in 4th round
The Indianapolis Colts took Clayton Geathers in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

He started the final 52 games of his college career, and tied a UCF career record with 53 games played overall. He finished his college career with 383 tackles (226 solo), 19 tackles for a loss and a sack. He had three interceptions and nine pass deflections, managing five forced fumbles.
Geathers has a lot of potential, but he gets ahead of himself at times and was known for missing tackles and over-committing on play action. Those are things that will hurt him big time at the next level, but he has a high ceiling. Like a lot of the safeties in this year’s draft, he is raw despite a lot of college experience.
At the NFL Scouting Combine in February, Geathers managed the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds, the three-cone drill in 7.21 seconds, the 20-yard shuttle in 4.27 seconds and the 60-yard shuttle in 12.57 seconds. He also put up 22 reps in the bench press, managed a 37-inch vertical leap and a 120-inch broad jump.
