Kam Chancellor’s holdout continues to drag on and has now reached the point where he will miss Seattle’s Week 1 game. Seattle fans are frustrated. Chancellor is likely frustrated and the Seahawks probably don’t feel much better. His teammates may also be frustrated by his absence, but they aren’t saying or showing it. Especially Marshawn Lynch.
Marshawn Lynch wears Kam Chancellor’s No. 31 to practice as his holdout continues

— Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) September 10, 2015 That would appear to be a strong statement of support. It could also be a classic practical joke as maybe Lynch was hoping to get some media members buzzing when they saw a No. 31 run out on the field. Either way, Chancellor appreciated the gesture.
My mans always stay 100. Preciate the support. real recognize real.. #NoHollywood #WeKnowTheTruth #AlwaysGotMyBackLynch is to the Seahawks’ offense what Chancellor is to the defense. Lynch also knows a little of what Chancellor is going through, having gone through a holdout of his own last training camp. The Seahawks and Lynch were eventually able to work out a deal that kept him from missing games. That isn’t the case with Chancellor and unless Lynch is planning to wear No. 31 and play safety on Sunday, Seattle has a big void to fill.
