Rams vs. Lions 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Can the Rams stay above .500 when they take on the Lions on Sunday?

The Los Angeles Rams have looked like a team ready to fall apart at any second. But they're 3-2 on the season, and that's better than anybody expected. Jeff Fisher's team owns some quality wins, beating both the rival Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, but they have also lost some head-scratchers, like the 28-0 shutout at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.

On Sunday, the Rams will try and get back in the win column coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills. They will be traveling to take on the Detroit Lions, a team that has also struggled with a 2-3 record. Sunday's game will begin at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on television via FOX. A live stream will be available online via FOX Sports GO, but it will require login credentials from a cable or satellite provider.

Detroit is coming off an impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles in their last outing. The offense has been performing well at times, but they have also lost to two divisional rivals already in the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. Against the Eagles, though, Matthew Stafford and the rest of the offense looked good in a 24-point performance.

Stafford only threw for 180 yards in the game, but he threw for three touchdowns and that was enough to put the Eagles away. One big issue is the fact that the Lions let Stafford get sacked four times. The Rams have a strong defensive line with some heavy hitters and if they get to Stafford often, it’s hard to imagine the Lions’ offense having much success at all.

On offense, the Lions rank 17th in the league in total yardage, while the Rams come in at No. 29, led by Case Keenum. First overall pick Jared Goff has still not played for the Rams, a major disappointment for Rams fans. Keenum has been playing passable football at best, but Goff is still expected to take over eventually.

However, while the Rams are winning games, Keenum will remain the starter. The bigger offensive disparity comes in points scored. The Lions rank 12th with 23.8 points scored per game, while the Rams are tied for the league worst at 16.4 points scored per game.

Defensively, Los Angeles comes out better in yards allowed, ranked 20th in the league to Detroit’s 24th ranking. When it comes to points allowed, Los Angeles ranks 14th at 21.2 points allowed per game. Detroit again comes out worse, ranking 20th at 25 points allowed per game.

Fisher has been under fire for his decision to attempt a fake punt at the team’s own 25-yard line while trailing by four late against the Bills. The play failed, the Bills took over and scored a game-clinching touchdown.
