It's been rough going for quarterbacks Eli Manning and Case Keenum this season, but both have their teams, the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams, at 3-3 on the season. On Sunday morning at Twickenham Stadium in London, both have a chance of going above .500 as well, and at bettering their unimpressive touchdown-to-interception ratios.
Giants vs. Rams 2016 picks and predictions: Experts divided on Week 7 matchup in London
Experts can’t pick between the Giants and Rams, who are both 3-3 to start the season.
Manning has thrown six interceptions to eight touchdowns this season, while Keenum has thrown six interceptions to seven touchdowns. Manning, of course, has a couple Super Bowl victories and has that going for him while Keenum has the distinct honor of, well, beating Sean Mannion and rookie Jared Goff for the starting job.
They're in separate calibers of quarterback, to be certain. But both have struggled this season. And both are looking around their division and seeing better quarterback play. But Keenum mainly has to deal with Russell Wilson, while Manning has rookie upstarts Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz to be compared to.
After a three-game winning streak, the Rams have lost their last two outings, giving up 30-plus points to the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions. The Giants were on a three-game losing skid of their own before they snapped it with a 27-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens in their last outing.
As far as experts are concerned, they’re split to a point. At CBS Sports, five of their eight experts are picking the Rams, leaving three going with the Giants. At ESPN, the split goes the other way, with five of their nine experts going with New York, leaving four picking the Rams.
Here at SB Nation, the leaning is toward the Giants.
