The Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers will face off in one of Week 10's most exciting matchups. The records indicate that one team should be heavily favored, but that's not actually the case. The Cowboys are 7-1 on the season, and have been way better than anybody expected. The Steelers, on the other hand, are 4-4 and trying to hold on in the depleted but competitive AFC North.
Cowboys vs. Steelers 2016: Start time, live stream, TV schedule, and 3 things to know
The Cowboys are 7-1 and the Steelers are 4-4, but Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh should be much closer than records would imply.
But the Steelers are 3-1 at home this season, and a lot of respect is given to Mike Tomlin as a head coach and Ben Roethlisberger as a quarterback. With Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, it's always hard to predict that another team will out-produce them on offense.
Dallas, led by rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, has outscored all but one team this season. Prescott has been an effective quarterback and he doesn't turn the ball over. He keeps the ball in Dallas' possession and more importantly in Elliott's possession.
Prescott has completed 165 of 248 passes for 2,020 yards (66.5 percent) with 12 touchdowns and 2 interceptions this season. Cole Beasley is his top receiver with 499 receiving yards. For the Steelers, Roethlisberger has completed 168 of 271 passes for 1,949 yards (62.0 percent) with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Roethlisberger has been more productive overall from a scoring perspective, but he has also missed time due to injury and has thrown far more interceptions. Prescott protects the ball better than Roethlisberger, who has always been a boom-or-bust kind of player. Fortunately for the Steelers, it’s primarily been the former for the Steelers.

Three big things to know
1. Two storied franchises mean all bets are off. The Steelers and Cowboys haven’t met in almost four years, but the two franchises are two of the most storied in the league, and have had more than their share of heated matchups between them. It’s more than the 4-4 Steelers facing the 7-1 Cowboys, even if you don’t traditionally think of the two as bitter rivals.
2. Elliott still on record-breaking pace. The Cowboys sure had a good draft, didn't they? Elliott is still on pace to break Eric Dickerson's rookie record of 1,808 yards. Elliott leads the league with 891 yards, nearly 100 more yards than the next player, DeMarco Murray of the Tennessee Titans.
3. Prescott probably won’t be benched. It would likely take an epic collapse on the part of Prescott to be benched in favor of Tony Romo. The Cowboys don’t want a player to lose his job due to injuries, but it’s impossible to argue with Prescott’s awesome play and the Cowboys’ 7-1 record. Romo may be ready a week from now, but even a bad game against the Steelers won’t lead to him starting.
