Seahawks vs. Patriots 2016 picks and predictions: Experts heavily favor New England
Tom Brady and the Patriots can make a statement by beating the Seahawks in one of their only remaining tough games this season.
Tom Brady versus Russell Wilson will continue to be a big storyline, though Brady has been playing completely out of this world since he took back over the team in Week 5. A four-game suspension for Brady left the Patriots with a 3-1 record, and four games later they're at 7-1 on the season.
Seattle is 5-2-1, and they are coming off a big win over the Buffalo Bills. It was a tough-fought game, but the Seahawks needed it after falling to the New Orleans Saints in their previous game and tying the rival Arizona Cardinals in a terrible 6-6 game prior to that. So now they're trying to start another winning streak.
New England has beaten the Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns since Brady's return. The schedule gets easier from here, with a late-season matchup with the Denver Broncos highlighting the schedule for the Patriots. Winning Sunday's game isn't crucial, but it would certainly make a statement.
Over at CBS Sports, seven of the eight experts are picking the Patriots to win. At ESPN, eight of their nine experts think the Patriots will win as well, leaving just one picking the Seahawks.
