‘Thursday Night Football’ live stream 2016: How to watch Falcons vs. Buccaneers online

Can the Falcons take a stranglehold on the NFC South with a win over the Buccaneers on Thursday?

The Atlanta Falcons are 5-3 to start their season, which is good enough to put them atop the NFC South. The Carolina Panthers are well out of the discussion despite appearing in the Super Bowl last season, while neither the New Orleans Saints nor the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have shown any kind of consistency.

It's the Buccaneers the Falcons will try to hold off on Thursday Night Football in Week 9. The game will air on television on NFL Network, but there will be no live stream via Twitter like there have been in past weeks. The broadcast will not be simulcast on another network, either, though NBC's announcers will call the game. The only way to watch live online is via an online Sunday Ticket subscription.

Atlanta's lead in the division is tenuous at best. While the Buccaneers are 3-4 and coming off a loss, a win Thursday night would close the gap to just half a game. Last week, the Buccaneers lost a close one to the Oakland Raiders, but they fought hard to rally and send the game to overtime. They had won two consecutive games prior to that.

The Falcons halted a skid last week as Matt Ryan successfully outdueled Aaron Rodgers in a last-minute win over the Green Bay Packers. Atlanta's offense has been excellent this season, but the defense has been lacking. It's hard to imagine Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers keeping up with Ryan's output, and the Falcons will surely be favored going into the matchup.

Below is all you need to know for Thursday’s game.
