In Week 8, Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan combined for an offensive showcase, but one that Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers came out on the losing end of. The Packers will be emboldened by the fact that the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings have also stumbled on a bit of recent bad luck.

The Packers could be involved in another high-level quarterback duel on Sunday as they will face Andrew Luck and the Colts.
The Packers will try and right the ship against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. We could be in for another high-level quarterback duel, as Luck has played quite well for most of the season. Unfortunately, the Colts have a losing record, while the Packers are struggling to hold onto a winning one.
Sunday’s game will be served up by CBS on television, with a kickoff time set in the afternoon, just after 4:25 p.m. ET. A live stream will be available online via a Sunday Ticket Online subscription. The game will be played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, while Jim Nantz and Phil SImms will be on commentary with Tracy Wolfson as the sideline reporter.
The Packers team was completely gutted in that game against Atlanta, a game which they lost on a last-second touchdown. They could just as easily have won despite a depleted game day roster. Rodgers has elevated his play, ranking as one of the best quarterbacks in the league over the past three games.
The Colts have not won consecutive games this season, and will be trying to avoid their second losing skid when they play the Packers. They fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in their last outing, and only own wins over the San Diego Chargers, Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears. They have fallen to the Jacksonville Jaguars, which isn't a promising development for their season given the Jaguars are terrible.
The Packers have alternated wins and losses in their last four games, and will try and keep that trend going for one more week, since the next one up would be a win. With late-season matchups against the Seattle Seahawks and Vikings in the cards, the Packers need to get back to their winning ways sooner rather than later.
Below is all you need to watch Sunday’s game.

Three big things to know
1. The Colts are terrible against the pass. Indianapolis ranks 30th in the league against the pass, allowing just under 300 passing yards per game this season. They have just two interceptions on defense, while allowing a total of 14 touchdowns through the air. Much was said about Luck’s struggles before his injury a season ago, but he’s hardly getting help from anyone on his team at this point.
2. The Packers have been ridiculously under-manned in recent games. Against the Falcons, the Packers were without their top two running backs -- Eddie Lacy and James Starks -- their top three cornerbacks -- Sam Shields, Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins -- two wide receivers -- Randall Cobb and Ty Montgomery -- tight end Jared Cook and top defender Clay Matthews.
3. Luck can’t hold up with this offensive line play. He’s been sacked 31 times this season and given his injury history, that’s a pretty big deal. He’s putting up monster numbers, but if the Colts don’t clean up their play on the offensive line, Luck is going to get hurt.
