Chris Berman declares himself a key social issue with MyCauseMyCleats shoes

Finally, a shoe that deserves more scorn than Chef Currys.

Across the country, players are using a one-week break from the NFL’s strict uniform code to honor the causes in which they believe. The league’s #MyCauseMyCleats campaign has athletes spreading awareness for social issues like AIDS testing and awareness, bringing an end to human trafficking, and ensuring people throughout Africa have access to clean water.

Meanwhile, ESPN analyst Chris Berman decided to wear shoes with his face and catchphrase on them.

Berman donned airbrushed loafers with his visage, an old ESPN logo and signature “He could go all the way” call on them for the network’s pregame coverage Sunday.
