Super Bowl parade 2016: Festivities will get underway near Coors Field on Tuesday

The Denver Broncos will celebrate Super Bowl 50 proper with a victory parade on Tuesday.

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos rode a dominant defense to a victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, and it's time for celebration. The Broncos will obviously do plenty of this in and while they're leaving Santa Clara, but the celebratory Super Bowl Parade will take place at 2 p.m. ET in Denver on Tuesday, according to CBS Denver.

The parade will begin near Coors Field, and the route will continue to 17th, to Broadway, to 13th and then the City and County Building for a “huge rally.” Broncos players, cheerleaders, team officials, Miles the Mascot and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock will be among those attending the festivities.

Last year's Super Bowl parade took place in Boston after the New England Patriots won the big game. Their parade was delayed due to the intense snow in the area around the time of the game, but it wound up taking place on the Wednesday after the big victory.

That parade featured Rob Gronkowski chugging beer in a Minion hat, Julian Edelman stripping for the crowd, Tom Brady's son falling asleep for some reason, Gronkowski catching and chugging Fireball and a whole lot more fun.

So given what happened last year, a whole lot of crazy things are likely to happen and predicting it is a fool’s errand. But there’s probably a pretty good chance you’ll hear about chicken parm and Papa John’s during the festivities.
