There’s something about the big game that sure makes you thirsty. And what better way to wash that down than with an ice cold beer! Fortunately for most folks watching the game at home or at a friend’s house, they can get by pretty cheap. It will cost a little more if you at the neighborhood watering hole with the ol’ softball team. It’s still quite a bit cheaper than what you’ll pay for a beer at the game itself.
Super Bowl LI beer prices: What does it cost to drink at the big game?
If you spent thousands to get into the game, what’s a few more bucks for a domestic draft of your choice.

A beer at NRG Stadium, host facility for Super Bowl LI, costs $12.
Last year, beer prices ranged from $13 to $15 for a beer at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, depending on the size you ordered. A glass of wine, for the fancy folks at the game, was running $15, too. So things are actually a little cheaper in 2017, although it’s not just the beer that’s going to cost fans at the game.
A burger is $16, soda is $11, and a lemonade with a double shot is $30.
The prices probably won’t stun anyone at the game. They’ve already paid a couple thousand dollars or more to get into the game in the first place, not to mention the inflated prices for hotel rooms and everything else in Houston this week.
And that’s OK. Gouging the consumer is a time-honored Super Bowl tradition; it’s as American as ... well, as the Super Bowl. So pony up, get yourself an adult beverage, and don’t think about tightening the budgetary belt until later in the month. You’ve earned it!
