The Super Bowl is just hours away, and the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots should provide for an entertaining game. While the Patriots do have a strong defense, and allowed the fewest points of any team this season, both teams feature powerful offenses and a high-scoring game is certainly in the cards.

Sunday’s game is set for 6:30 p.m. ET from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The game will be broadcast on Fox in the United States, with a live stream available online at Fox Sports GO. That service typically requires login information from a cable or satellite provider, but the Super Bowl will not carry that requirement, so it will be free to everyone in the country to stream.

Matt Ryan has always been a prolific passer, but this year has been the best of the newly minted NFL MVP’s career. He led the Falcons to the most-potent scoring offense in the league and they’ll need it against New England’s stingy defense.

Where the Falcons have come up short in the past is on defense. In recent years, they’ve allowed a lot of yards and points, and have been unable to get to opposing quarterbacks. This year, they still allowed a ton of yards, but one difference is they have had an effective pass rush, led by Vic Beasley.

Getting to Tom Brady is the biggest goal for the Falcons. They won’t be able to shut the Patriots out, not with the way they have played defense this season and not with the way the Patriots have played on offense. But if they can rattle Brady, who is incredibly difficult to rattle, then they’ll have a chance.

In the regular season, the Falcons had the league’s 25th-ranked defense. They also ranked 27th in the league in points allowed, with 25.4 points per game. However, the unit has been much stronger during the postseason.

The Patriots, on the other hand, allowed just 15.6 points per game in the regular season. No other team gave up fewer points.

Of course, for the Patriots, they’re looking at the same goal defensively. They need to limit Ryan, who was also named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year this season. His past playoff performances have been lacking, but in two postseason games this year, Ryan has thrown seven touchdowns with no interceptions.
