Offensive linemen aren’t typically thought of as the stars of the NFL Combine, but it’s a crucial event for the players in the trenches, too.
NFL Combine results 2017: Full offensive line numbers
Ryan Ramczyk, Cam Robinson and Garett Bolles lead the list of offensive linemen at the 2017 NFL Combine.

Not only is size and strength key for linemen, the on-field drills can allow players to show they have the lower-body strength to explode off the line of scrimmage and bulldoze in run support or kick slide to keep up with the quickest pass rushers.
A 40-yard dash time isn’t critical, but the 10-yard split at the beginning of the run is, as well as drills that show burst like the vertical jump and broad jump. A year ago, Jason Spriggs climbed to the second-round with a strong showing in Indianapolis and Lane Johnson did even more for himself at the 2013 NFL Combine.
Utah’s Isaac Asiata led all linemen with 35 bench press reps Thursday, but the big star was TCU’s Aviante Collins who ran a 4.81 40-yard dash Friday. Since 2003 only Lane Johnson and Terron Armstead had faster times.
Another Utah offensive lineman, Garett Bolles, also impressed Friday with one of the best broad jumps of the last decade.
