Manning remains a spokesperson and brand ambassador for the Papa John’s franchise, according to the Denver Post.
The NFL and Papa John’s mutually agreed to split ways in Feb., just months after former CEO John Schnatter cited NFL player protests as the reason for his company’s sales decline. The league announced a new sponsorship with Pizza Hut shortly after.
