That series kicks off less than 48 hours after the Game 7 victory on Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET. The top-seeded Canucks will obviously be the hosts of Games 1 and 2 in the Conference Semifinal series, and while a lot of Preds fans are just excited to be beyond the first round for the first time in franchise history, the team certainly isn’t happy with the way things have gone.
It’s going to be a battle of strengths in this series. There’s the defensive-minded Canucks against the high-flying offensive powerhouse that the Sedin twins and the Canucks have on board in Vancouver. Chicago shut down the Sedin’s for a good chunk of that first round series, and if that can happen again, the Predators have more than just a chance against the Canucks.
