Predators Vs. Canucks Final Score: Roberto Luongo Shuts Out Nashville, 1-0

In a battle of goaltenders between the Nashville Predators and the Vancouver Canucks, Roberto Luongo gained the upper hand for the Canucks in their 1-0 victory to open the second round of the 2011 NHL Playoffs. Luongo shut out the Predators with his 20 stops.

However, Nashville's Pekka Rinne was no slouch in the net. For the first two periods, he faced an onslaught of 26 shots by the Canucks Unfortunately for him, Rinne allowed a Chris Higgins goal during the middle of the second period. In the third period, Rinne's teammates were able to hold the Canucks to just four shots, while his team managed to get nine shots on Luongo. Rinne finished with 29 saves and was named the game's first star.
