Red Wings Vs. Sharks, Game 2: Niemi And Howard Setting Tone For Series
Sharks fans also want to make sure goalie Antti Niemi gets his due for another great performance in the net.
Credit goes to Antti Niemi, who once again put in a solid performance in nets for San Jose. Although he wasn’t tested very often in the second period, the first and third period saw him make some excellent saves to hold the Sharks lead.
Despite the loss, Red Wings fans don't want their goalie to go without some credit as well.
Jimmy Howard played out of his mind. Jimmy had some huge saves and the Wallin shot was the only real negative part from his game tonight. Jimmy once again looked like he's the only one that really wants to win out there and the offense needs to start stepping it up to keep the team in the series. Howard has been spectacular this postseason, time for the surrounding team to dig themselves out of the 0-2 hole.
