Senators Vs. Rangers, Game 4: Anton Stralman, Ryan Callahan Score Early For Rangers

New York Rangers defenseman Anton Stralman and captain Ryan Callahan took advantage of early power-play opportunities and juicy rebounds from Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson, scoring goals to give the Rangers an early 2-0 lead in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Ten seconds after Senators center Zack Smith was sent off for boarding, Stralman corralled a long rebound after a shot by Brad Richards and beat Anderson with a wrist shot for his second goal of the series. In addition to Richards, Marian Gaborik was credited with an assist.

After a questionable tripping penalty on Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson, the Rangers needed just 25 seconds to make it 2-0 as Callahan was unattended at the side of Anderson and was able to sweep the loose puck into the net for his second goal of the playoff series.
