We don't yet know where the Eastern Conference Final will begin or which team will take on the No. 6-seeded New Jersey Devils, but we do know when that series will begin.
NHL Playoff Schedule 2012: Western Conference Final To Begin Sunday, Eastern Final To Begin Monday
The NHL announced the date and time for the first two games of the Eastern and Western Conference Final series.


The NHL announced Thursday that the Game 1 of the Eastern Final will take place on Monday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET. Game 2 will be played at the same time on Wednesday, May 17. Both games will air on the NBC Sports Network in the U.S. and CBC in Canada. The rest of the series schedule is still to be determined.
The Western Conference Final between the No. 8-seeded Los Angeles Kings and the No. 3-seeded Phoenix Coyotes will begin on Sunday, May 13 at 8 p.m. ET. Game 2 will be played at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 16. Both games will be played at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz. The rest of this series schedule is also still to be determined.
Should the New York Rangers defeat the Washington Capitals in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Saturday evening, they will host the Devils in Games 1 and 2 at Madison Square Garden. Should the Capitals win Game 7 and advance, they will travel to the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. for Games 1 and 2.
