Sergei Fedorov will be coming out of retirement to play in the KHL.
Fedorov signs contract with KHL team

Martin RoseReports surfaced on Wednesday that Fedorov was going to return to professional hockey to play for CSKA while the club deals with injury issues. Fedorov skated for approximately 90 minutes and took repetitions at forward and defense, according to Pavel Lysenkov of Sovietsky Sport.
Early reports indicated that Fedorov would dress for the team’s game against Metallurg Magnitogorsk on Friday night. However, that hasn’t been determined at this time:

Martin RoseThe 43-year-old last played a professional game in March of 2012, when he dressed for Metallurg during the second round of the Gagarin Cup playoffs. He is presently serving as CSKA’s general manager.
The extent of Fedorov’s participation in Friday night’s game remains unclear at this time.
