Steve Mason falls victim to a terrible bounce

This is not the type of bounce that Steve Mason or the Philadelphia Flyers need.

Nothing is going right for the Philadelphia Flyers this season, and this sequence of events in the first period of Tuesday's game against the Vancouver Canucks is a microcosm of their season to this point.

Just seconds after Tye McGinn gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead, Ryan Kesler tied the game for Vancouver when he was able to take advantage of this wacky bounce off the boards.

Steve Mason has had his problems in net over the years, and that's not the type of break he (or the Flyers, for that matter) really need right now.

When it rains, it pours.
