After not making much of an impact in his first two games with the New Jersey Devils, Jaromir Jagr finally found the back of the net early in the first period of Monday's game against the Edmonton Oilers, beating Jason LaBarbera at the 2:59 mark.

Jaromir Jagr scored his first goal for the Devils on Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers.
It’s Jagr’s first with the Devils and the 682nd goal of his NHL career, good enough for 10th on the all-time list. Many of them have looked just like that one as he cuts to the center of the ice and lets one go from between the circles.
He is now just eight goals behind his former teammate, Hockey Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux for the No. 9 spot.
The Devils signed Jagr, 41, to a one-year, $2.4 million contract over the summer in an effort to help replace some of the offense they lost when Ilya Kovalchuk retired from the NHL to continue his career in Russia.
