It's not often than an NHL goalie has to utilize his vertical leap to make a stop, but that's the position Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks found himself in during the third period of their game on Monday against the Edmonton Oilers.

A slap shot from the top of the circle to Crawford’s left was deflected off the stick of a defender and appeared to be fluttering toward the net until Crawford made himself fly through the air to make a diving blocker save.
Considering the guy is wearing about 30 pounds of goalie equipment, that’s pretty amazing he was able to get that much air time.
