The Tampa Bay Lightning (8-6-1) will host the Boston Bruins (9-2-2) at the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Thursday night.

It will mark the first of three meetings between the team two teams this season.
The Lightning will be entering the contest in the midst of a two-game winning streak. Having defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night 4-2, the Lightning have scored a combined 10 goals over their last two contests.
Currently leading the league in average goals per game (3.93), the club will look to challenge the Bruins’ eighth-ranked defense, which is allowing an average of 2.31 goals against per game.
Boston will be entering the night off a victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday. Despite losing their two previous contests, the Bruins have registered points in five of their six games in February.
Lightning captain Vincent Lecavalier will be carrying a five-game point streak into the contest (two goals, three assists), while Benoit Pouliot (four games), Martin St. Louis (four games) and Steven Stamkos (three games) all have extended point streaks of their own.
Tyler Seguin (two games) is the only Bruins player bringing a point streak into the contest.
Thursday night’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on NHLN-US, NESN and SUN.
