    Clutterbuck injured in knee-on-knee from Hall

    Taylor Hall recieved a five minute major penalty for kneeing, which kept him out for the remainder of the game.

    Clutterbuck stayed down on the ice for several minutes, and appeared to be in severe pain during that time. Eventually he was assisted off the ice by teammates, but did not put any weight on his injured leg.

    Semin has a history of prolific offensive production - he has scored at least twenty goals every season since 2006, and scored forty in 2009-10. Prior to Thursday night’s action he had scored three goals and eleven assists, and was Carolina’s fourth-leading scorer.

    Jiri Tlusty hasn’t been a stranger to goal-scoring so far this season - this was his eighth of the year already. He’s well on his way to surpassing his previous career best of seventeen goals scored, which came last year.

    Artem Anisimov leaves ice on a stretcher

    Anisimov lay still for several minutes. Trainers and medical personnel representing both teams hurried out to attend to him, and a stretcher was brought on to the ice. The doctors looked to be checking for signs of a neck injury, and eventually lifted him on to the stretcher and took him off the ice.

    Later televised reports indicated that Anisimov was awake and responding after he left the ice. The Columbus Blue Jackets issued a statement saying that he had never lost consciousness, but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

    Redmond is believed to have been working in one-on-one drills, when he was cut by a skate blade. After the incident, an ambulance was called and head coach Claude Noel was seen on the ice with Redmond. Teammates were seen bringing out towels, in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

    In the wake of the injury, a large pool of blood was apparently visible on the ice.
