Kings vs. Wild: Jonathan Quick smashes stick into oblivion

QUICK ANGRY. QUICK SMASH.

So Saturday was not the greatest night for Jonathan Quick. The Kings netminder gave up three goals to a Wild team that were on the back end of a back-to-back, and it's not even like he made it all that difficult for them.

But he had a chance to right everything in the shootout. Stop the Wild, win the game. Save the cheerleader, save the world. Instead he was beaten again by his Saturday nemesis: Matt Cullen.

Cullen had previously snapped a howitzer past Quick that the goalie had no chance on. This time, Quick had a chance. It looked like he knew Cullen was going 5-hole the whole way, but let Cullen beat him between the pads anyways.

Naturally, Quick blamed his stick.
