Maple Leafs vs. Devils: James Reimer stones Patrik Elias

Reimer’s save of the night led to a Leafs’ win.

It's been a couple of weeks since the Maple Leafs came close to trading for Roberto Luongo. Since then, James Reimer has made Toronto quite happy they decided to lean on him.

He certainly did on Monday, making two huge stops late in the third period to keep the game scoreless. His biggest was on a one-timer from Patrik Elias right on the doorstep, just barely getting across in time to kick the puck away with his right pad. The play earned a standing ovation from the home crowd, and Phil Kessel scored the game-winner just a few minutes later.
