Flames vs. Wild: Ben Hanowski scores his first NHL goal

Who needs Jarome iginla, anyway?

Flames fans got to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel on Monday when youngster Ben Hanowski scored his first NHL goal.

Hanowski, as you might recall, was traded from the Penguins to Calgary as part of the Jarome Iginla trade earlier this month. The captain of St. Cloud State finished his college season and was immediately called up by the Flames. Hanowski didn't take long to endear himself to the home fans.

By the way, Hanowski now has as many goals as Jarome Iginla has with the Penguins. Seems like a fair trade.

Also, get a haircut, man!
