Marc Staal in the lineup for Rangers tonight after lengthy absence

Staal has missed the last two months with a facial injury.

The Rangers are in danger of going down 3-0 to Washington, so they're bringing back their star defenseman a bit earlier than expected. Marc Staal is on the ice for warmups in New York, which means he'll be in the lineup on Monday for the Rangers.

If you remember, Staal hasn't played since March 5, when he was hit in the face by a slap shot that deflected off of Kimmo Timonen's stick. It was rather ugly. He missed the next two months, and was expected to miss the first few games of this series. But it seems the Rangers have decided to bring him back in an effort to finally get a win in this series. We'll see if it pays off.
